SPORTS CENTRE EVENTS PHOTOGRAPHER

As on of our Events Photographers, you’ll join a team of professional photographers to tell the visual story behind our mission. Your lens will capture the determination of athletes, the joy of community gatherings, and the energy of our exhibitions and conferences. Your work will not only document our events but also inspire supporters, attract new participants, and help us secure vital funding to keep our programmes thriving.


What You'll Do


  • Photograph a wide range of events, including adaptive sports competitions, training sessions, community celebrations, exhibitions, and conferences.
  • Capture authentic, emotive moments that reflect our values of inclusion, empowerment, and achievement.
  • Work closely with our events and communications teams to plan shot lists and ensure coverage aligns with campaign goals.
  • Edit and deliver high-quality images for use across digital platforms, print materials, and press releases.
  • Maintain an organised archive of event photography for future use.
  • Occasionally travel to venues across the UK to cover events (expenses covered).

What You'll Do


  • Travel to adaptive sports events across the region, from local tournaments to showcase competitions.
  • Capture high-quality, dynamic images that reflect the spirit, diversity, and inclusivity of our events.
  • Work closely with our events and communications teams to understand the stories we want to tell.

As a BLS Regional Sports Coach, you’ll be the driving force behind delivering high-quality, inclusive sports sessions across your region. Your work will directly empower disabled people to be active, connected, and proud of what they can achieve.

  • Plan and deliver engaging, adaptive sports sessions for children, young people, and adults with a wide range of abilities.
  • Adapt coaching methods and equipment to meet individual needs, ensuring every participant can take part fully.
  • Build strong relationships with participants, families, carers, and partner organisations.
  • Support the development of local volunteers and assistant coaches, sharing best practice in inclusive sport.

As a Regional Sports Official, you’ll be at the heart of delivering fair, safe, and inspiring sporting experiences for athletes. Your role will go beyond officiating, you’ll be a visible advocate for inclusion, ensuring that every event you oversee is run to the highest standards of accessibility, fairness, and respect. You’ll help shape the sporting experience for participants, volunteers, and spectators, leaving a lasting legacy in your region.


What You'll Do


  • Officiate at regional adaptive sports competitions, ensuring rules are applied consistently and inclusively.
  • Work closely with event organisers to adapt rules, equipment, and formats to meet the needs of participants.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to volunteer officials, helping them develop inclusive officiating skills.
  • Support the delivery of training workshops for clubs, schools, and community groups on inclusive sport practices.
